Amanda & Steve – A Blue Hill Farm Wedding

Amanda and Steve’s wedding day late September at Blue Hill Farm was one of the most perfect days! Their venue is such a wonderful location surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful views. The B&B provides gorgeous getting ready areas for the bridal party that make you feel like at home. After a stress-free morning, Amanda and Steve shared a first look, followed by bridal party portraits, supervised and joined in by the venue’s adorable puppy. Unexpected moments like this can’t get planned and make each wedding unique!

The wedding ceremony was just perfect, with their nephew playing the piano and other close family members contributing with readings. Amanda and Steve opted for a unity sand ceremony to visualize the joining of two families. What a wonderful keepsake to have of your special day!

It was very important for both of them to provide opportunities for their families to spend quality time together on their wedding day. Therefore they had many wonderful activities planned for the reception: from rock painting – what amazing talented friends and family members came together – I spy one rock with the painted venue! – to yard games such as jenga, bean bag toss, plus other many unique game ideas. Their guest book was a giant painting of a beautiful sunflower for people to leave their congratulations. What a neat idea! They also included a bourbon tradition – a month before the wedding they buried a bottle of bourbon – which on their wedding day they had to dig out – to ensure beautiful weather plus good fortune for their married life together.
