Pavel & Juliya – A Richmond Russian Wedding

Juliya’s and Pavel’s wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect! They are such a wonderful young couple and I was honored to be able to capture their special day for them.

I met Juliya and her bridesmaids in the hotel where she was getting ready at. And it was a photographer’s dream come true with its specious and bright room with mostly mute colors.

Juliya and Pavel decided to go for a first look, which is the perfect way to get those first jitters out of the way. Pavel was waiting for her outside the hotel when they first got to see each other as bride and groom. They then departed with their special decorated car to our portrait location. I admire them for keeping their calm as we couldn’t use their original picked location due to an event taking place there. No problem, we just used the park near by and it was the perfect choice with it’s beautiful spring greens and ponds. I loved that they got to spend some stressfree time with their bridal party before the rest of the festivities began.

Their ceremony and reception was held at the Slavic Evangelical Church where their friends and family were waiting for them.
