Ashley & Jon – Fredericksburg Engagement Photography

It was such a pleasure meeting up with Ashley and Jon on a warm, lovely evening for their engagement pictures. We originally meant to take them much earlier, some time in spring but had to postpone them due to Covid-19. However, I’m very glad we got to do them during summer as the warm glow of the late afternoon sun was just wonderful.

On a funny side note, I first met Jon many years ago as my student in 6th grade and ended up having him in my class for three years. As a teacher, it is always wonderful to hear from former students, especially students we only knew as younger children. Seeing them all grown and as mature adults just makes my heart full. It’s wonderful to hear their stories and about their life, seeing them in love, and getting ready to take the next big step in life. I’m very excited to be able to be a part of their upcoming wedding in October.
