Becka & Chris – A Madison at the Mill Wedding – Orange, VA
Though I met Becka and Chris for the first time just a few days prior to their wedding you could tell right away what a fun-loving couple they are. You can’t miss seeing the love they have for each other and it just puts a smile on your face.
Their wedding took place at this beautiful, huge venue – Madison at the Mill in the town of Orange, VA. It’s a dream come true for a photographer with its spacious bridal suite and many windows. Hello, light! Becka used that area to get ready with her best friend and mom. The guys were getting ready in their own section not far away which made it nice and easy for me to capture them both getting dressed.
Since the wedding took place in winter and the weather is quite unpredictable here everything was scheduled for indoors: the ceremony, portraits, and reception. I loved the venue’s glamorous industrial look. My favorite part – I’m so glad the owner pointed it out to us – was the elevator which we used for some of the couple portraits.
Becka and Chris planned their wedding all by themselves with the help of their family. Everything was decorated so beautifully. Her champagne-colored gown was just stunning and was really the perfect dress for her! And to top it off, many of the guests admired the gorgeous cake.
